Nike x BTS “ARIRANG” Collection to Launch Globally This June

From Seoul to Paris, fans can now co-create limited-edition apparel centered on the legacy of the number seven.

Seoul, May 29, 2026 — BTS isn’t just a band; they are essentially a sovereign state of fandom. When they announce a world tour, the ripples are felt far beyond the music industry, crashing straight into the heart of global retail.

Nike, never one to miss a cultural zeitgeist, has just pulled the curtain back on a partnership for the BTS WORLD TOUR “ARIRANG” that goes significantly deeper than a standard logo-slap.

The collaboration is built around two distinct pillars: the Nike x BTS tour merch and a first-of-its-kind Nike By You customization experience.

Starting June 1, the Nike By You program will allow fans to take the reins, offering 10 custom designs inspired by the group.

These aren’t just random graphics; we’re talking about a visual vernacular that leans heavily into the band’s typography, fluid movement, and the heavy symbolism of the number seven. Fans will be able to apply these designs to select Nike apparel and totes, essentially co-authoring their own piece of tour history.

The actual tour merch is equally bold, focusing on a “future-forward” legacy.

The collection includes a range of T-shirts, a hoodie, and—in a move that will surely send collectors into a frenzy—a Korea-only cap.

The design language here is anchored by musical bars and measures, a subtle nod to the group’s role as a generational voice.

It’s a bit of a maximalist approach to minimalism, if that makes sense.

The pieces look timeless enough for daily wear but carry enough specific BTS wordmarks to satisfy the most dedicated ARMY.

Frankly, the logistics of this rollout are a lot to take in. Nike is using a staggered release strategy that mimics the tour’s global footprint.

The Nike By You experience kicks off in Seoul, Busan, Tokyo, and Osaka on June 1, eventually snaking its way through Singapore, London, Paris, and Toronto.

New York, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles will see the tour merch drop on July 5, while China will handle its release primarily online starting July 10.

What’s interesting here is the emphasis on “co-creation.” In the announcement, Nike highlights that this is about giving fans new ways of self-expression. By letting individuals tweak the designs, Nike is effectively turning every concert-goer into a walking billboard for both the brand and the band.

It’s a symbiotic relationship that feels remarkably modern—and probably quite profitable.

The “ARIRANG” collection isn’t just about clothes; it’s about the intersection of Korean heritage and global streetwear. Whether you’re trying to secure that Korea-exclusive cap or spending an hour at a Nike By You station in London, the message is clear: the BTS legacy is being stitched into the very fabric of the world’s biggest sportswear brand.

If you’re planning on copping something, you might want to mark your calendar now; “limited availability” is an understatement when these two giants collide.
