Overview

Daily Deals sites are attracting millions of customers. It’s a lively marketplace with hundreds of companies competing for a limited number of users and businesses willing to give them a try.
How lively? It’s hot. According to researchers at Lab42, there are more than 660 deals sites online today. But is this sustainable? Certainly not all those sites will survive. Some of us here at Mashable are questioning whether the Daily Deals era is coming to a close.

Google has added a function on thier toolbar called Google Related which shows you useful, intresting content while you browse the web. It enables you to the web undisturbed yet getting related content to what you are surfing.
Its Available On Internet Explorer and Google Chrome but i think this video Gives Much of That.

App Invent Gets Domain

Due to To Google’s Changes to their Google Labs, The Google Apps Inventor will get its own domain. the following email was received to all demo users.

Dear App Inventor User,

As a result of the recent changes to Google Labs and App Inventor, effective immediately, the URL for App Inventor will change from appinventor.googlelabs.com toappinventorbeta.com. This URL change WILL NOT have an impact on your projects stored in App Inventor. All data that you see in your appinventor.googlelabs.com account, as well as documentation and email forums will be available at appinventorbeta.com.

As we announced on the App Inventor Announcement Forum, Google will end support for App Inventor and open source the code base at the end of this year. Additionally, in order to ensure the future success of App Inventor, Google has funded the establishment of aCenter for Mobile Learning at the MIT Media Lab, where MIT will be actively engaged in studying and extending App Inventor. This transition will happen at the end of 2011. At that time you will need to download your data from appinventorbeta.com in order to continue working with it in the open source instance of App Inventor. In the coming months we will send you detailed instructions on how to download your data.

WordPress is the most common blog platform around yet one of the reasons of its popularity is its Plug-ability. This gives developers the ability to extend the functionality of the Platform but choosing a plugin can be a tardy task as the plugin gallery at WordPress.org can go in thousands of Plugins depending on what you are looking for.

Here are 7 important elements you should look for in a plugin before choosing it as your plugin.

Officialism/Authority

The WordPress gallery of plugins gives plugin creators the best option of making thier plugin official yet plugins can sometimes not be(official).

It is true that most Plugin Developers/companies that have a very high usage of their plugin(s) due to the quality of their plugin will have a better plugin.

If the site is a dead link be sure to think through the other elements in this tip before going ahead.

Examples of a Authorities are Atkismet and BBPress.

Element of Review

Going on to the publisher/creator site link you should see reviews and comments on the plugin. if the reviews are bad doesn’t mean the plugins bad… just means those users don’t have a good experience. but depending on your trust of reviews it should be a pivotal element of decision.

If you have a friend that blogs with the platform it would be best option to gain some advice from that friend as to which type of plugin he/she uses (a friend in need is a friend indeed… right). If you can Google reviews of the plugin you desire then take the best option of doing so.

Elimination

Eliminate each plugin to see which one fits also taking into account the tips given here.

Limitations

There is the advice out there that you should have too much WordPress plugins as it will slow down you blog/website. with that as a limitation the choosability of multi-functionality will play a large part in your choice.

Information/Tips/Help

If information on a plugin is what you desire then make sure to look for one that will provide you the benefits of information on the plugin and more tips. Help can come in handy in various situations and having a dedicated plugin developer or Support can be the answer.

No Body Canna Cross It Reaches 1 Million Viewers 23

After weeks of watching one of Jamaica’s best viral videos we can solidly now declare and approve it as viral, as its recent reach of the 1 million mark viewing has showed approval and the growth still goes on. The popularity has sprung its creators and the main attraction into fame giving Clifton aka Cliftwang the main attraction many interviews across the media landscape. DJ Powa has even made it intentional to make a marketable profit from it by creating several shirts with it catchy phrase as “Canna Cross It” and “The Bus Can Swim”.

One can even go back to one of the previous DJ Powa videos title “D People dem dat are deading” and see stark difference in traffic as the lyrical mixture had hit quite a buzz to cause this intention result of reaching 1 million views on youtube, a mark many youtube users wish their videos could reach and a joining of the few channels that do this.

Take a look at the Video again.

No one could imagine that a simple news report could turn Cliftwang into a star but here we are with Cliftwangs video reaching into the view of millions making him a star. He is now using the opportunity to gain a profit from the endorsement of the video as many await the recordings to come as he enters the filed of entertainment.

We also like to congratulate them on making this video and hope he next videos will gain traction.
