NIS America has announced the official release of its playable demo of MONARK for PS5™, PS4™ and Nintendo Switch™ consoles.
MONARK is a role-playing game where you can command your friends in battle, explore the Otherworld, and challenge the Pactbearer.
It is scheduled to be released on February 25, 2022, for PlayStation 5, Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch gaming consoles.

How far would you go to save those you love? Would you face the threats around you? Would you be able to cope on your own?
Your world is thrown into madness when a mysterious deadly mist surrounds Shin Mikado Academy. In order to save your friends, you enter the Otherworld , an alternate dimension filled with demons. Inside this enigmatic realm, you must learn to harness your Power of Vanity in order to conjure a battalion of Fiends, whose power comes from the Ego of their master.
Develop your Ego through various psychological tests to improve the power of your Fiends and thus fight against the seven ” Pactbearers “, at the origin of the problems of the academy. Embrace the power behind your madness to gain power. Be careful, however, not to go too far, or you risk losing control. Your classmates and professors will aid you in your quest to fix the anomalies on campus.

- A Descent into Madness : Explore the mist present in the real world or fight inside the enigmatic alternate dimension called Otherworld . Call on your allies, fight enemies and unravel the mysteries that hang over the academy. Will you save the world or will you go crazy until you destroy yourself?
- Into the Mist and the Beyond : Immerse yourself in a dark realm where reality and the Self collide. The mysterious worlds you’ll visit will come to life in a dark, surreal, neo-fantasy style, with intricately designed characters and evocative settings.
- Power of Ego : Strengthen your Ego and customize the appearance and abilities of the Fiends you unlock during your adventure. Take control of it during combat and use the free tactics system to position your units and annihilate your enemies.
The physical edition includes The MONARK game, an artbook, an excerpt from the game’s digital soundtrack and a reversible jacket.
