KINGSTON, JAMAICA – Great news for CourierBox customers! The company’s warehouse has officially been recognized as a tax-free exporting address for Amazon purchases.
You can now enjoy tax exemptions on your Amazon orders when shipping to the CourierBox warehouse.
This news follows the company’s recent rate increases, effective April 1, 2025.
Who/What is CourierBox? CourierBox is a company that provides international shipping and package forwarding services. It offers various services to help customers ship packages from the US to other countries, including package consolidation, repackaging, and customs clearance assistance.
Key Takeaways
- Manual Upload Required: The tax exemption is not yet automatically applied at checkout. You’ll need to manually upload the tax exemption details to your Amazon account.
- Warehouse-Only Shipping: To benefit from the tax exemption, ensure all your tax-free orders are shipped exclusively to the CourierBox warehouse. Shipping elsewhere may result in Amazon charging back taxes if proof of export isn’t provided.
- No In-Person Pickup: Tax-free items shipped to the CourierBox warehouse cannot be picked up in person.
