NCB Foundation Scholarships & Grants are Now Open

The philanthropic arm of Jamaica Commercial Bank (NCB), The NCB Foundation is now accepting applications for its Scholarships & Grants.

NCB Foundation scholarships are aimed at Jamaican students and particularly at Digital studies.

The Foundation has in fact renewed its J$100M commitment to Digital Studies within its overall J$835M in scholarships and Grants.

Tertiary Level Scholarships & Grants

These Scholarships and Grants are open to Jamaican Citizens who are pursuing undergraduate studies at an accredited local institution in an approved digital-focused programme.

Such programmes include; Software Development, Computer Science/Engineering, Actuarial/Data Science, User Experience Design, Robotics, Animation/Video Game Development, Cyber-Security and Artificial Intelligence.

Applications are open from May 13 to June 17, 2022.

Dr. Rickert Allen Scholarship

An annual scholarship is awarded to one Jamaican student attending the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) pursuing either the Bachelor of Science in Innovation & Entrepreneurship or Bachelor of Science in Networking with Cyber Security.

Applications are open from May 13 to June 17, 2022.

Primary & Secondary Grants

These scholarships and grants provide needed book vouchers of up to J$20,0000.00 redeemable at select Kingston Bookshop and Sangster’s Bookstore locations.

Applications are open from June 3 to July 15 2022.

Level Up Grants

These grants are available for unemployed/underemployed Jamaican citizens who want to pursue approved short courses focused on empowering them with digital skills that will enable them to earn online and transition or access new job opportunities.

Applications are open from June 14 to August 5, 2022.
