Following the Mario Kart World Direct presentation, Nintendo has revealed details on Mario Kart World, launching exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 system on June 5.
This game will serve as the series’ biggest entry to date. Also, a Nintendo Switch 2 and a video code for the game will be for sale together on the date of release.
It features an interconnected world in which the player can visit multiple locations in the game such as oceans and cities. It will include a Grand Prix as well as checkpoints dubbed the Knockout Tours.








Here is an outline on what to expect:
- An Interconnected World: Courses are interspersed across the world which allows players to navigate through locations
- Grand Prix: Consists of cups such as the Mushroom Cup which will also have races that traverse to distances.
- Fun With Everyone, Anywhere: Use GameChat*** features with the built-in microphone for voice chat, or use CameraPlay.
- New Items: The lower your position is, the more likely you’ll get good items.
- Additional new features.
