KRAKOW, Poland – Bloober Team, known for the SILENT HILL 2 remake, has released the first full gameplay trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn, their original survival horror IP.
The trailer highlights “THE MERGE,” a new mechanic that transforms enemy encounters into mind-bending struggles for survival.
Cronos: The New Dawn is set in the decaying district of New Dawn, inspired by real-life Nowa Huta in Poland, across two time periods—the grim ruins of a post-apocalyptic future and 1980s-era Poland. As a Traveller, you must prevent people from perishing in the apocalypse.
According to the game overview, downed enemies can be merged with other living enemies. After the fallen monsters are absorbed body, the enemies evolve into faster, stronger, more resilient, and far more horrifying abominations, The only way to prevent it is to kill enemies with fire.

According to Wojciech Piejko, Co-Director and Designer at Bloober Team, “Fire! Burn the fallen before they merge with living creatures. The merge changes the game, adding a whole new layer of strategy to combat. Push your survival instincts to the max.”
It can be added to PC via the wishlist on the Steam store now.
